Below is my basic Egg Pie recipe, the one that started it all!
This is what I use as the base for my Egg Pie Pizza!
* Egg Pie *
1/3 cup mayo
1lb ground beef or turkey
(I like to use hot breakfast sausage; eliminate seasonings below when using pre-seasoned meat)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheese (any cheese will work, feel free to use more!)
Brown ground beef/turkey/sausage (don’t drain grease) and add salt, pepper, garlic powder (unless using pre-seasoned meat). Stir and cover to simmer over low heat for 10-15 min (this makes it super tender and hella tasty!)
Spread over bottom of greased 9×13 casserole dish.
*TIP – for some reason, the only thing that ensures this doesn’t stick in my ceramic dish is bacon grease
Sprinkle meat with 1/2 cup of cheese.
Beat eggs and mayo with a healthy pinch of salt and pepper and pour over meat mixture/cheese.
Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
Bake at 350 for 25 min and let sit for a few minutes before slicing.

You can make Egg Pie Pizza!
This is our absolute favorite keto pizza, and we’ve tried them all!
For the pizza, slice into 12 equal pieces
Let cool for approx 30 min in pan then remove squares to plate
Cover and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight
Once completely chilled, slice squares in half lengthwise
Brown both sides of each sliced square in an un-greased skillet over medium heat
Put all browned Egg Pie squares on a foil lined cookie sheet and top with pizza sauce
Now it’s time for TOPPINGS!
Add cheese and toppings of your choice
Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 5 min then put under the broiler until bubbly (approx 1-2 min)
Let cool for a moment and serve!
I like to serve mine with ranch for dipping!
