TOASTED PORK RIND CRUMBS!
It’s a true game changer – try it, you’ll see.
Pulse pork rinds just until broken down into crumbs.
Melt 1/2 tbl butter over medium high heat and add pork rind crumbs.
Toast crumbs until golden brown and crunchy, just a few minutes, tossing often.

* Salisbury Steak *
For the Steaks:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 cup toasted pork rind crumbs (directions above)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tbl worcestershire sauce
For the Onion Gravy:
1 tbl butter
1 medium onion, sliced
1/8 cup + 1 tbl Johnny’s Au Jus
1/8 cup heavy cream
Saute onions in butter over medium high heat, seasoning with salt and pepper, stirring often until mostly cooked with browned edges.
Add in 1 tbl Johnny’s Au Jus, stir and remove onions to a plate.
Combine all of the Salisbury Steak ingredients and gently mix everything together using your hands.
Patty into 4 big steaks or 8 mini steaks
Sear steak patties over medium high heat until crusted on both sides.
Remove steaks to a foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
While the steaks cook thru in the oven, add onions back to the pan along with the grease from the steaks. Add in 1/8 cup Johnny’s Au Jus and 1/8 cup heavy whipping cream and allow to gently bubble and thicken. Season with salt and pepper.
Add steaks into the finished gravy and allow to simmer gently for 5 min and serve!
